利用受激布里渊散射产生慢光的最近进展

The latest research of slow light using stimulated brillouin scattering

摘要 慢光可以用于数据同步、光存储器和信号处理过程等。介绍了一些最新的使光速减慢的方法及实验结果,重点介绍了在光纤中利用受激布里渊散射的原理产生慢光,以及通过增加泵浦光源的线宽达到增加传输带宽的目的。最后讨论了慢光在实际中的应用前景,并展望了慢光发展的研究方向。 Slow light could be used in data synchronization, optical buffer and signal processing. The latest methods and experimental results of slow light are reviewed with Emphasis on the principle to generate slow light via stimulated Brillouin scattering, and the method to increase the slow light bandwidth with a spectrally broadened pump laser is introduced. The significance and future of slow light are orosoected.
