摘要
首先介绍GPS（全球定位系统）及其采用的NMEA-0183协议，在此基础上采用VB的MSComm控件实现计算机和GPS接收机的串口通信，实现了GPS定位信息的采集与提取，最后使用DAO数据库技术对定位信息进行管理，并给出部分关键代码。
This paper firstly introduces GPS and NMEA-0183 protocol which it uses,and then a solution based on the MSComm component of VB is presented,which achieves the transmission and display of position messages from GPS receiver to Computer via serial port,and finally a position message management by DAO database technology.Above all,a part key codes is provided.
