The interaction of sovereign and minister, proposed by Zhu Danxi in his works of Ge Zhi Yu Lun （ Essay on Utmost Knowledge） has gradually become a unique theoretic system during later dynasties. The article sorts out the academic achievements throughout its course of development, further explores the clinical application of the relationship in aspects of physiology, pathology.
