构建和谐社会需要高度的物质文明、政治文明和精神文明支撑。其中，精神文明源于强大的文化建设和积累。在建设社会主义先进文化中图书馆和文化建设的发展有着重要的意义。本文从四个方面论述了图书馆在构建和谐社会中的重要作用。
