Achievements of and Prospect for the Hydropower Cause for 30 years Reform and Open to the Outside in China

改革开放30年来,我国水力发电事业取得了突出的成就:开发规模迈上新台阶,坝工技术进入国际领先行列;大型机组国产化水平显著提高;输电技术屡攀新高峰:取得了巨大的综合效益等。水电事业的成功经验主要在于:与时俱进,遵循国家能源战略发展方向;不断改革,水电开发呈现多元化格局;科学规划,促进了水电可持续发展;组建流域公司,实现有序开发;重视移民、环保,实现人与自然和谐相处;自主创新,加速机组国产化进程:科技先行,提高施工装备现代化水平;积极发展小水电,推进新农村建设。在总结成就和经验的基础上,对今后的水电发展作出了展望。

Since 30 years reform and open to the outside, the cause of hydropower generation in China has gained great achievements. Its development scale has stepped up new terrace and its dam technology has entered the leading rank in the world. The homemade level of large sized generating unit has enhanced obviously. The power transmission technology has being scaled new heights. All these have gained huge comprehensive benefits. The successful experience of hydropower cause is mainly in following aspects： the direction of national energy strategy and development has been obeyed with each passing day; reform continuously to make hydropower development carry out in many modes; the scientific planning to promote the sustainable hydropower development; the establishment of river basin company to realize the development to be ordered; paying great attention to the resettlement and environment protection to reach the harmonious coexistence of human and nature; innovation for oneself to speed up the homemade progress of generating unit; using firstly science and technology to enhance the modernization level of construction equipment; and developing actively small hydropower resources to promote the new rural construction. On the basis of summing up the achievements and experience, this paper makes the prospect for the future hydropower development.
