经验分布函数是数理统计中非常重要的概念,是理论分布函数与实际数据间的桥梁。在本科教材中,由于篇幅所限,对其与总体分布之间关系未做详细讨论。文章在教材论述的基础上做了进一步讨论。

The empirical distribution function is very important concept in the mathematical statistics. It is a bridge between the theorial distribution function and the actual data. In the text book, because of the limited passage, there is no detailed discussion on the relationship between distribution function and population distribution. In this paper,there is a further discussion.
