社会流动是社会结构中各个阶层之间互动与分化的过程。社会流动既受社会结构的影响,又受个人特质的影响,国家的制度安排、社会化组织提供的社会资源以及个人后天努力都是影响社会地位提升的重要因素。在诸多影响的因素中,个人的后致性因素是基础性动因。现代社会应提供给社会成员更多的通过获致性因素而改变社会身份的机会。

Social mobility is the process of the interaction and differentiation of all walks of life in social structure. Social mobility is under the influence of social structure and personal characteristics. Social resources provided by institutional arrangements and community-based organizations, and together with individual efforts, are important factors in upgrading the status. Individual factor is the basic cause among these factors. Modem society should be made available to members of society through ascribed factors to change their status.
