父权制道德观影响下的女性抉择困境——剖析伍尔夫的小说《达洛卫夫人》和《到灯塔去》

A dilemma in women options under the patriarchal ethics——An analysis of Woolf′s Mrs. Dalloway and To the Lighthouse

女性主义视角认为,父权制道德文化观念束缚了女性身心的发展,造成了女性在社会生活中面临抉择时的困境。通过仔细分析伍尔夫小说《达洛卫夫人》和《到灯塔去》中的女性人物身份问题,发现这种困境首先表现为女性的社会角色定位除了选择母亲身份,此外别无出路;其次女性在话语冲突中根本不可能成功建构女性自我;再者女性在内在心理中追寻个人空间时容易迷失自己,从而遭遇生或死的两难抉择。

From the feminist perspective, the patriarchal ethics not only restrain women from fully developing but also present a dilemma to women when making options in social life. With a detailed analysis of the women characters in Woolf＇s Mrs. Dalloway and To the Lighthouse, it is pointed out that firstly women have no other way out but choosing motherhood in social roles; secondly, women find it impossible to construct a self through discourse conflicts; finally, women tend to lose themselves when pursuing a private inner space and thus facing a dilemma of living or dying.
