摘要
以英语专业本科三年级学生为调查对象,采用调查问卷和词汇测试等方法,了解词汇学习策略的总体使用情况,比较优、差生在策略运用上的异同。定量分析结果表明:(1)英语专业学生较多运用认知策略学习词汇,而对元认知策略和社会/情感策略运用得较少;(2)优、差生在词汇学习策略的使用上存在较大差异,优生更多、更善于使用各种策略。
This paper makes an empirical study on various kinds of vocabulary learning strategies employed by the English majors. The subjects were the third - year English majors from Jiaying University, and the instruments adopted included a questionnaire and a vocabulary test. Detailed analysis of quantitative data has the following findings : ( 1 ) The English majors tend to adopt cognitive strategies rather than meta - cognitive stategies and social -affective strategies; (2) Good learners are found to be significantly different from poor learners in vocabulary learning strategies.
