As the most direct way to join in international division, foreign direct investment is a very important method to utilize the global resources efficiently. The author in the paper sorted out the theory viewpoints on foreign direct investment; studied the motive, feasibility, and advantages for Chinese foreign direct investment. And on this basis, related strategy was discussed for Chinese overseas investment.
