刘宝楠《论语正义》对《说文解字》征引论析

An Analysis of Liu Baonan's Citations in Lun Yu Zheng Yi from Shuo We Jie Zi

《论语正义》是清代扬州派学者刘宝楠父子一身中最重要的一部著作,该作不仅体现了清代考据学的重要成果,对《论语》学的发展亦贡献卓著。运用统计、归纳、比较等方法对《论语正义》中释词时引用《说文解字》及其他字书、传注类训诂著作的情况进行了分析研究,发现有清一代虽然说文学昌明,但扬州派秉承皖派学者之优长,尊汉但不迷信汉,从而在《论语》诠释方面为后人留下了一部集大成之作。也印证了经过清一代学者的不懈努力,我国的训诂、文字、音韵等学术已经朝着专业化方向发展。

Lun Yu Zheng Yi is the most important work created by Liu Baonan and his son of Yangzhou School of the Qing Dynasty. This work does not represent only the textual research of the Qing Dynasty, but also makes a prominent contribution to Lun Yu＇ s research. The author makes a comparative study on the explanation of the words in Lun Yu Zheng Yi by quoting Shuo Wen Jie Zi and other works with the methods of statistics, induction and comparison. He found that although the study of Shuo Wen Jie Zi was flourishing in the Qing Dynas- ty,Yangzhou School that respected the Han Dynasty didn＇ t blindly worship it. So, they left a great work in the explanation of Lun Yu for posterity. It has testified that through the unremitting efforts of the scholars of the Qing Dynasty, the study of exegetics, characters and phonology has developed towards specialization.
