从《亚当·比德》看爱略特的人文主义思想

本文以乔治·爱略特的一部早期小说《亚当·比德》为例,分析了作者渗透在这部作品中的人文主义思想,主要包括其同情意识思想、因果报应思想、利他主义思想及其对传统价值的尊崇几方面;并进一步探讨了爱略特人文主义思想的形成过程。本文指出:爱略特的人文主义思想与她从小所受的基督教信仰以及费尔巴哈、孔德等人的影响有关。

This thesis takes one of George Eliot＇s early novels Adam Bede as example and analyzes Eliot＇s humanistic idea penetrated in this novel, including her sympathetic consciousness, her Law of Consequence, her altruism and her respect for traditional virtues. Then this thesis probes into the developing process of Eliot＇s humanistic ideas. The author of this thesis points out that Fliot＇s humanistic ideas is closely related to her religious belief and the influence from Feuerbach and Comte.
