Human Possibilities:An archaeological Study of The Human Stain

本文从知识考古学角度解读菲利普·罗思2000年发表的小说《人性污点》(也译作《人性的污秽》),从知识考古学探索话语的非连续性、解构主体和颠覆理性这三方面切入作品,挖掘那些散落和埋没在小说各处的零落的话语实践,指出它们各自存在的方式和相互关联的层次。

The paper looks into Philip Roth＇s Novel the Human Stain, a novel published in 2000 from the archeological point of view. Drawn from notions raised by archeology of knowledge, such as discontinuity of disconrse, the deconstruction of subjectivity and the subversion of reasoning, the author makes an attempt to dig out discourses scattered throughout the novel, trying to justify the ways they co-exist and how they relate to one another.
