摘要
手征对称性在自然界中广泛存在,如人类的手,某些化学和药物分子以及海螺壳等都有手征性.原子核中的手征对称性概念于1997年提出,随后成为核物理研究之中的热点问题.文章简要介绍了原子核中的手征对称性概念,以及如何判断原子核中的手征对称性破缺,回顾了最新的理论和实验研究进展,并对未来理论和实验方面所需解决的问题进行了简单小结.
Static chiral symmetries are common in nature, for example, the macroscopic spirals of snail shells, the microscopic handedness of certain molecules, and human hands. The concept of chirality in atomic nuclei was first proposed in 1997, and since then many efforts have been made to understand chiral symmetry and its spontaneous breaking in atomic nuclei. Recent theoretical and experimental progress in the verification of chirality in atomic nuclei will be reviewed, together with a discussion of the problems that await to be solved in the future.
