高等教育质量问题已经引起政府和社会的高度关注,教师是提高大学质量的根本力量,他们的专业成长显得尤其重要。近年来,我国新建地方本科院校规模迅速扩大,而师资力量没有相应的增强,教师的数量、质量及结构等方面存在较多问题,新建地方本科院校只有在加速大学环境文化、精神文化、制度文化和学科文化建设过程中,形成科学的教师文化,有效促进教师专业成长,才能实现内涵升本。

The quality of higher education has attracted special attention of the government and the society. Teachers are the fundamental force to improve the quality of the college education and their professional growth is particularly important. In recent years, newly-built local colleges are rapidly expanding in scale in China, but the teaching force does not increase. There are much issue on the number of teachers, the quality of teachers and structure of teachers etc. Newly-built local colleges can form rational teacher cultures, promote effective professional growth of teachers and realize the college＇s real upgrade only by creating cultures on college environment, spirit, institution and discipline.
