On Developing and Utilizing Miao Embroidery in Guizhou

苗族人民在漫长的历史过程中,创造出了丰富多彩的苗绣艺术,苗绣以其独特的绣法、价值、文化内涵成为少数民族刺绣艺术中的一朵奇葩。随着社会经济的发展,苗绣的开发面临着机遇和挑战,针对目前苗绣开发中存在的问题,提出了几点建议,以期望对苗绣的开发有所帮助。

In the long process of history, the Miao people created a rich and eolorful art ot Miao embroidery. With its unique embroidering techniques, value, and cultural connotation, the Miao embroidery has become outstanding among the art of embroidery of the minority nationalities. With the development of social economy, the development of the Miao embroidery is faced with opportunities and challenges. Some proposals are put forward with regard to the existing problems in developing the Miao embroidery and they are hoped to be helpful for the development of the Miao embroidery.
