Preliminary Analysis of Raising Public Servants' Ability to Deal with Public Emergencies

我国目前处在公共突发事件的高发时期,在未来很长一段时间内,我国都将面临公共突发事件所带来的严峻考验。新时期公共突发事件的发展态势对公务员应对突发事件的能力提出了新的挑战,然而现时许多公务员公共危机意识淡薄,应对能力不强。因此,必须通过加强学习培训,提高自身素质,做好主动应对突发事件的心理准备及知识储备;同时强化实践磨砺,大力提升公务员应对和处置突发事件的综合能力,最大限度地减少损失,保障经济持续发展,促进社会和谐稳定。

At present, public emergencies are on the increase in China, and for a long period China has to face the critical test brought about by public emergencies. The serious situation of the public emergencies challenge public servants＇ ability, however, many public servants are still not aware of it, and not qualified to deal with it .Therefore, public servants＇ comprehensive ability has to be raised by learning more relevant knowledge and getting trained in practice, so as to minimize the loss in emergencies, and ensure that economic develops continuously and society is in perfect harmony.
