The plankton constitution of Longhu Lake was investigated in Autumn 2007. There are 35 species,in which 19 is phytoplankton and 16 is zooplankton. The amount of phytoplankton is 597 × 10^4 ind/L which reflects in the biomass of 14. 625 4 mg/L, and the amount of zooplankton is 537.40 ind/L which reflects in the biomass of 4. 955 1 mg/L. The fish potential production and the store number of this reservoir are 5 015 925.71 kg and 30 630 210 ind, respectively.
