With the development of over 30 years, the technique of recognizing hydrocarbon signiatures from seismic data has been a tremendous foreground in oil exploration areas. On the basis of previous research at home and abroad, this paper reviews the origin of the technique of recognizing hydrocarbon , and the development of it＇s history and future directions.
