On the Legal Fundation and the Contemporary Form of Socialist Core Values——Also on some relevant views

马克思主义认为,生产方式构成了某一社会价值观的根基,而社会主要矛盾则主导了该社会价值观的性质。在当代中国,社会主义核心价值观的合法理据只能在于社会主义生产方式及由此决定的社会主要矛盾。因此,在社会主义初级阶段,中国特色社会主义共同理想是社会主义核心价值观的当代形态。

According to Marxism, production mode of a society makes the fundation of its values, whose nature is guided by the social principle contradictions. In contemporary China, the legal fundation of socialist core values lies only in socialist production mode and the resulting principle contradictions. So at the primary stage of socialism, the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the contemporary form of socialist core values.
