摘要
依据关联理论,从认知角度对英语连接副词进行分析,指出连接副词在话语交际中的各种语用标记作用,并采用语料库的研究方法,以英语本族语者的议论文作为参照,调查中国英语学习者在英语议论文写作中使用连接副词的情况,以考察其在议论文写作中的语用认知意识。
The paper made an analysis of English adverbial connectors from a cognitive perspective based on the framework of relevance theory. It pointed out that adverbial connectors perform different pragmatic functions in communication. The paper went further to conduct a comparative, corpus-based study of English adverbial connectors in the essays written by Chinese EFL learners and native speakers of English, so as to examine Chinese EFL learners' pragmatic cognitive awareness in their English essay writing.
