New Curriculum is a great breakthrough for traditional education ideas, which emphasizes students central status, on the other hand, it requires teachers to play leading role in teaching practice. But how do we understand the teachers＇leading role correctly and how to develop it properly？ This paper analyzes the easy - misunderstandings in class teaching, then puts forward that new curriculum reforms demand teachers to change not only educational concepts but also their teaching modes and behaviors, help them improve their ability to play leading role in politics teaching.
