The paper gives a brief introduction of the advantages of the steel scuttle, and introduces the headwall of the steel scuttle, the section selection of the stiffener, the calculation deflection and strength, the common forms and calculation of the scuttle bearing, so as to extend the application of the steel scuttle in the coal buffer bin of the main power house of the thermal power plant.
