The traditional Chinese comedic performance known as xiangsheng, or crosstalk, is one of the most popular forms of entertainment in China. While tremendous performances by xiangsheng masters, such as Hou Baolin and Ma Ji, will leave people in stitches, few spectators realize there are script writers behind the scenes. Ma Guirong, one of the few women who write xiangsheng scripts, has received a lot of attention of late for trying to fill people＇s lives with fun.
相声是中国老百姓耳熟能详的一种曲艺节目，像侯宝林、马季等相声大师在中国都是家喻户晓的人物。长久以来当人们为他们表演过的经典相声而津津乐道时，很少有人关注相声表演幕后的作者们，马贵荣便是这个群体中少有的女作者之一。数十年来，她的作品给人们带来了无尽的欢乐，她自己也以对相声的热爱书写着快乐人生。
