摘要
Since 2005, the Communist Party of China （CPC） and the central government have made ＂building a harmonious society＂ a priority. A harmonious society should feature democracy, the rule of law, equity, justice, sincerity, amity and vitality. Families make up the backbone of society; therefore, families play an essential role in building a harmonious society. To build such a society, we must first ensure there are harmonious families. Without family peace and harmony, there cannot be social stability.
