详细论述了高性能局部总线──PCI总线的系统结构和各引脚的信号特征，给出了PCI总线的操作时序，阐述了该总线的操作方式，并与EISA、ISA和VLBus总线相比较，说明了PCI总线的综合特点。
The architecture and pin's signal characteristics of the PCI bus are descrital in detail, the time sequence and operating fashion of the PCI are presented, and the PCI bus's distinctive features via the comparation with the EISA、ISA and VL-Bus is also outlined.
