Improving student＇s intercultural communication ability is not only a teaching goal for English-majors but also one of the important goals for non-English majors. The paper discusses the necessity, contents and considerations of ＂Intercultural Communication＂ as an optional subject for non-English majors. It aims at finding a new approach to improving overall collegeEnglish teaching and learning throughout the country.
