摘要 It has been an obvious phenomenon among representative steel and iron enterprises in various countries or regions. Convergence displays in the forms of competitive strategy and product strategy.By theory,owing to the conflict between cost strategy and product difference strategy,it is probably impossible to construct such strategies at the same time. By theory, owing to the conflict between cost strategy and product difference strategy, it is probably impossible to construct such strategies at the same time. Even through large-scale steel and iron enterprises still carry out these two strategies in a parallel way. Especially, each steel and iron enterprise is expanding the manufacture of high added-value products such as motor vehicle plates, electrical steel, and stainless steel etc. and trying to establish homogenization of strategic products, which has become the factor contributing to the monopolization and competitive intensification of the overall market structure.
