the great achievements obtained by the highway engineering construction supervision for the highway construction in Guangxi Autonomous region are introduced in this article.Many problems exposed from the practice of highway engineering construction supervision are pointed out,such as the behavior relation between the owner contractor and the supervision is chaotic, the social supervision system indepent on the owner and contractor is hard to form, which has disadvantageous influence to its development.While how to improve the highway engineering construction supervision in future, some measures are proposed.
