Intersujectivity and Hybridity in Translation

文章探讨了翻译的主体间性与文化杂合问题,并对主体间性与杂合进行了比较,讨论了这两方面的研究对翻译实践的指导意义,最后总结指出这两个概念反映了全球化大背景下对差异性和多元性的诉求;把握好多元因素之间的动态平衡,保持这种差异性和多元性,促进人类文明,这是译者神圣的职责,是翻译的根本使命所在,也是翻译得以存在的基本前提。

This paper discusses intersubjectivity and hybridity in translation, compares these two studies, and probes into their implications to translation practice. It concludes that these two studies represent the common pursuit for difference and pluralism in the background of globalization; and that to try to preserve and keep a dynamic balance between these plural factors and differences evolved in translation is the translator＇s task, and the mission and the essential prerequisite of translation itself.
