How to obtain the correct coefficient is the core issue of equating methods under item response theory. This paper analyzes 10 different equating methods such as Stocking-Lord and Haebara; Through the Monte-Carlo simulation, it made a comparison of the different behaviors of equating methods when the equating coefficient is at intervals.
