摘要
语言是一种表达的艺术,其中蕴含着审美因素。英语语言的美学意蕴体现在音韵、符号、修辞、内容、结构等方面。
Harmony is beauty. Language is harmonious. Language is, more than not, the embodiment of certain aesthetics. Language has the same structure as the universe. The beauty of language is the beauty of the universe,and the beauty of the universe is the beauty of language. English language is of beauty. This paper, from the perspective of aesthetics, explores the aesthetic features of English language, namely, the beauty of sound, rhythm, sign, wording, structure, and content.
