摘要
为探讨人类是否先天存在生成主义者所谓的"普遍语法机制"(UG),本文对乔氏普遍语法理论形成过程中的类比思维进行归纳与分析。结果发现,在乔氏UG内在论的三大类比过程中存在着逻辑基础脆弱、关键事实缺失等致命漏洞。
In this paper, a brief critique was given on Chomsky＇ s analogical thinking - the philosophical basis for innateness of UG, in which Pierce＇ s guessing instinct/abduction and universal grammar, genetic cognitive system and S-0 of LD, Galileo＇s ＂ideal object＂ and ideal speaker, validity of other scientists＇ argument and that of his own are put into analogy, respectively. However, the fatal loopholes in Chomsky＇s analogy--weak logical basis and lack of some essential facts-- arouses our reasonable suspicion against his unreliable argument for the innateness of UG.
