In Socialinguistics,language,register,dialect and slang are all defined as ＂code＂.The choice of a code,the transfer and mixed use among different codes constitute an important part in Socialinguistic studies.The mixed use of both Chinese and English in business translation can be explained and analyzed by code-switching theory.This article analyzes the form,reasons and the function of code-switching in E-C business translation.
