摘要
提出了一种新的掌纹特征提取方法,分别定位手指一维区域和掌纹的二维区域来提取手掌信号,并通过二进小波变换的过零点和Gabor滤波器分别对其进行编码,以此为基础进行掌纹识别。
Feature extraction is an important process in palmprint identification. This paper proposed a novel feature coding method. Having located 1D signal of finger and 2D region on palm, wavelet zero - crossing and Gabor filter are used to extract feature used in identification, respectively. And the experimental result of 96. 2% correct ratio demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method done on captured palm database.
