论媒介时代小说发展的新空间

On the New Channel of Novels' Development in the Media Age

本文以当下小说的电视剧改编为研究对象,力图阐释这一现象对于小说发展所产生的积极意义。通过考察电视剧改编的现实语境,从大众传媒的发展、经济因素等方面为从小说到电视剧找到充分的理论依据。文学的"触电"是拓展生存和传播空间的文化选择,通过改编这一途径寻找到了一条新的发展道路。在文学与影视的交融与互渗中,文字媒介与视听媒介相互补充,文学与影视对共同面对的现实进行了相互呼应的文化阐释。通过对两种艺术形式之间相互关系的研究来证明小说选择了影视是明智之举,是自身表达方式的新尝试。

This paper investigates the phenomenon of the adaptation of novels for TV plays, in an attempt to justify its existence. It examines the realistic context of novel-to-TV play adaptation and lays its theoretical foundation. The author argues that the screening of literature works is a kind of cultural selection which expands its existential and spreading space. In the process, not only has literature found a new way to develop, but also the medium of literature and the medium of screen complement each other and provide a new cultural illustration of the reality. Based on an analysis of the relationship between the two forms of art, this paper concludes that the screening of novels-an attempt to search its alternative way of expression, is a wise choice.
