The indirect measurement formulas for excavating resistance are presented The constructions of the pin-axis transducer and the drag-transducer which are applied in the excavating resistance measurment of the P&H2300×P excavator are introduced It is illustrated that they have enough safty tolerance through real measurement verifing The calibration result show that they have high characteristic indexes
