西方现代画派的哲学：人的主体性与自我表现

Philosophy of Western Modernist Paintings:Subjectivity and Self-Expression of Humans

中西两种不同的哲学覌表现为两种不同的自我观:中国人的自我是"互依型的自我",西方人的自我是"独立型的自我";中国人欣赏"无我之境",西方人重视人的主体性,重视"自我表现"。从绘画来看,中国古典画缺乏表现主义精神,属于"前科学的文化"范畴;西方现代表现主义画作重自我表现、重主体性,属于"后科学的文化"范畴。中华文化在由前科学文化状态向后科学文化状态的转化过程中,应在保存传统写意画强调写出"天人合一"之"道"的高远境界之优点的同时,能突破"前科学"的窠臼,汲取西方现代画之重主体性、重自我表现的优点——独立自主、自我创造的精神,走出一条中西会通的艺术道路。

The philosophical views are different between China and the West, which is expressed in two different kinds of the view of self. In the field of painting, the Chinese Classical painting lacks a spirit of expressionism, and belongs to the category of ＂pre-scientific culture＂. The Western expressionism in painting lays emphasis on self-expression and subjectivity, and belongs to ＂post-scientific culture＂. In the transitional process from pre- to post-scientific culture, the Chinese culture must break through pre-scientific stage, inhale the merits of subjectivity and self-expression, and work out a new artistic way which combines both Chinese and the Western arts.
