Summarize of the Research on Chi You Over the Past Decade

由于文献记载的缺失与矛盾,关于苗族发展源流及其远古英雄蚩尤的各种说法都充满相互矛盾之处,学术界对若干问题的研究也自演自话,难趋一致。对其中一些重大争论,诸如蚩尤的地位、蚩尤与炎帝的身份、蚩尤与苗族族源及苗族古歌所描述的迁徙发生地问题等,作阶段性的梳理,期待为进一步的深入研究提供借鉴。

As a result of the literature record＇s flaw and the contradiction,each view of the academic circle about the source of the Miao national minority and their ancient times hero Chi You is complicated and it＇s difficult to obtain consistent. Therefore, we select some significant questions to makes a gradual studing such as Chi You＇s status,Cbi You and Yan Di＇s identity,relation between Chi You and the race source of the Miao national minority and where is the migrate place which the Miaos＇ ancient song described and so on,anticipated that it could provide reference for the further research of the questions.
