On Dialects and the Teaching of Classic Chinese Lexicon

方言是语言发展不平衡性而在地域上的反映。作为活的语言材料,方言在古汉语词汇教学上有其重要利用价值,对于古代汉语的教学和学习有很大的帮助。我们在古汉语词汇的教学和学习中也要有意识地运用方言材料。

Dialects are reflections of unequal ness in language development. Regarded as living language materials, dialects play an important role in the teaching of classic Chinese lexicon as well as the teaching and learning of classic Chinese. As a result, dialects material should be used more consciously in the teaching and learning of classic Chinese lexicon.
