The Mechanism of Temporal Information Processing in Narratives

摘要 时间信息是记叙文阅读理解中的一个重要维度,但由于时间信息本身的抽象性,研究者对记叙文中时间信息加工的内部机制探讨不多。在关于记叙文中时间信息加工的几种传统理论基础上提出了"经验模拟—比较"假设,从语言理解的体验观及事件结构知觉研究等到不同角度探讨篇章中时间信息加工机制。 Temporal information is one of the important dimensions in narrative text comprehension.Because of its abstractness,the inner mechanism of temporal information processing has not been studied as much as other dimensions in narratives.There is some consistency as well as discrepancy existing among the primary traditional theories of the temporal information processing in narratives.As the theories of language comprehension progress,especially with the new advance of the view of language comprehension by embodied cognition and with the new findings of event structure perception,new perspectives for exploring the inner mechanism of the abstract temporal information processing in narratives are enlightened.
