摘要
液晶取向剂是制造液晶显示器的关键材料之一。目前对聚酰亚胺结构对液晶预倾角的影响研究较多,而添加剂对预倾角影响的研究还较少。文章用均苯四甲酸二酐(PM-DA),4[(4-氨基苯基)-二(4-甲氧基苯基)甲基]苯胺,1,2,3,4-环丁烷四羧酸二酐(CBDA),4-己烷氧基联苯酚-3′,5′-二胺基苯甲酸酯和不同含量的添加剂制备了聚酰亚胺液晶取向剂。通过偏光显微镜观察,液晶分子在4种PI膜上都获得了均匀取向。研究发现,含添加剂的PI膜具有良好的耐溶剂性能,液晶分子的预倾角随添加剂含量的增加先增大后减小。
Liquid crystal (LC) alignment layer is one of the key materials of liquid crystal display (LCD). At present, the effect of polyimide (PI) structure on LC pretilt angle has been investigated widely, but the study on effect of additive on the pretilt angle was less. In this paper, pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA), 1,2,3,4-cyclobutanetetracarboxylic dianhydride (CBDA), 4 [ ( 4-aminophenyl)-bis ( 4-me-thoxyphenyl) methyl-]benzeneamine, 4-hexyloxy-biphenyl-3 r, 5'-diaminobenzoate, and additive ADD-34 were used to synthesize four PIs. The uniform LC molecule alignment induced by PI alignment films was confirmed by polarized optical microscope. It was found that the PI with ADD-34 possesses solvent resistance. LC pretilt angle increased firstly and then decreased with the increase of ADD-34 content in PI.
