The test device designed upon similarity theory is the key to the study of scavenging process for 2-stroke gasoline engine by means of water simulation. This paper briefs the basic structure, working principles,essential functions,processing method of test results and testing accuracy of the test device. The test device gives a way of further studying scavenging process.
