一种改进的自适应背景更新算法

The Improvement of the Adaptive Algorithm in Background Updating

针对当前背景更新算法的不足,提出了一种新的视频序列背景更新算法。利用分类的思想对噪声和目标区域分别检测,采用降噪和背景更新相结合的方法,消除了噪声积累导致的错误;利用基于像素的背景更新来实现更新策略。该方法对目标与噪声分类检测,对目标遮挡区域背景进行插值优化,实验结果证明该算法检测效果稳定。

In view of the faults of traditional method, a new background updating method for video image sequence is proposed. We detect the noise and target area with two counters, combine noise reduction and background updating method, eliminate the errors that accumulated by the noise; implement background updating when many targets appeared. From the result we can see one of the significant advantages of this method is that when variations happened in the scene, it doesn＇t destroy the existing model of the background,While quick changes in the scene can sometimes necessitate a new set of background distributions, it will stabilize within few seconds, this system is flexible enough to handle variations in multiple moving objects and other arbitrary changes to the observed scene.
