Through analysis on the main potential safety hazard of coal mine mechanical and electrical equipments in the safety production supervised by People＇s Government of Shanxin Province, the paper introduces generation causes and types of the major potential hazard in current coal mine mechanical and electrical equipments and provides basis and countermeasures for investigations of the potential hazard.
