摘要
本文以汶川地震为个案,结合大量实例对英文地震新闻标题的写作手法和翻译策略进行了深入探讨,一方面意在加深对英文地震新闻标题的理解以便写好该类新闻标题,另一方面意在丰富汉语同类新闻标题的表达,对英汉语标题的互译有所启迪。
