By analysing the relation between supply and demand in materials market,this paper discusses the factors causing the unbalance between supply and demand as well as its harmful effect on economic development.the authors make a study on the role of market mechanism,the macro-regulation,and how to keep a balance between supply and demand in materials market.Finally,some suggestions are put forward.
