摘要暴力与创伤、历史与记忆、个人记忆与集体记忆是美国西语裔作家朱莉娅.阿尔瓦雷斯关注的焦点之一。在《西班牙征服者的血脉》这篇自传色彩浓厚的短篇小说里,阿尔瓦雷斯诉诸创伤叙事重构个人记忆,在寻求自我疗伤和集体疗伤的同时,表达出挑战特鲁希略时代公共集体记忆的个人历史意志。 Violence and trauma,history and memory,individual and collective memory are among Hispanic American writer Julia Alvarez's central concerns.In 'The Blood of the Conquistadores',an autobiographical story,Alvarez seeks to recollect her personal experience by way of trauma narrative for the purpose of expressing an individual's historical will to challenge the public collective memory during Trujillo's dictatorship,in addition to self and collective healing.
