Review on the Research Documentations of G8 in Canada

在当今众多国际政府组织和非正式国际论坛中,"八国集团"已经成为全球治理的中心。作为联合国常任理事国之一的中国,全面了解"八国集团"的机制、运作、内涵、目标以及可能发展趋势是有效参与全球治理的必要前提。本文以加拿大"八国集团"研究史学为蓝本,梳理、廓清该领域的学术史,旨在推动学术界对"八国集团"的研究,并力图为中国政府熟悉"八国集团"机制和探讨参与路径提供可能的路标。

The issue of 'Global Governance' has been on the agenda of big powers' according with the globalization goes deeper and deeper.Among IGO and NGO together with informal forums,G8 has been standing out without a parallel as a leading actor in the world after post Cold War period.Nowadays,China,a rising power,its role in international affairs as a responsible nation has been intensively discussed outside and inside currently.The question of to be or not to be a member of G8 is highlighted both in China academic and governmental branches.This paper aims at providing concrete information as well as academic resources by focusing on G8 research in Canada and reviewing of G8 documentations to serve the purpose who are interested in G8 system and its research.
