Mother＇s image is an everlasting topic in human＇s literary history. But under the racial discrimination of white society and the cognation male＇ s sex suppression, the black mother＇ s image is not only twisted by white people＇ s words, but also distorted by the words of black male power. Through reading and analyzing mother＇ s image in Opposition Strength, this essay focuses on the history, and culture background of ＂the goddess carol＂ and analyze the mother whose self consciousness was obliterated how to lose her self consciousness in male power culture.
